Our History

Reaching Port Angeles since 1890

Port Angeles, WA Baptists first gathered in 1890 to worship God in the Olivet Baptist Church at 2nd & Oak.  After ups and downs, the church reorganized in 1914 at 7th & Peabody.  In 1923 the First Baptist Church’s old brick building was built at 6th & Laurel.  Our brick sanctuary was built in 1939, and the educational wing was added in 1969.
